Eternal Friends

You're a true friend,

We've been through some tough times,

You helped me through anger,

you've chased away fears.

You stayed by my side

when I shouldn't conform.

when you knew we would fall.

you saw me through it all.

I'm not sure

I'm always the best friend to you,

I know I'm not perfect,

I'll share your concern.

I'll try my best to return every favor,

then I'll be your lifesaver;

I went to a meeting last night. Like usual, we were discussing things with serious faces but it was still joyful. At the middle of the meeting, two of my sisters went to the toilet. Until the meeting was closed to the end, they were still not coming back.

Out of the blue, I got a phone call.

“ Adik, hurry up. Help me. Along faints…..”

I shocked. With my shivering voice, I told the rest about the news. All of the sisters rushed to see what had happened to Along.

When I reached the room, I saw Along lied down on the floor. We got panic. Her face was pale. Alang asked the rest to get her some water.

When we were going to wipe Along’s face with the water,

“ Happy birthday to you…Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to Alang and Adik… Happy birthday to you…”

Along opened her eyes and woke up.

“ What is this?’, I started to cry while they laughed. Yes, their mission was accomplished. They managed to surprise Alang and me. Later, we were hugging each other…
